Members of the Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods team recently returned from the South-by-Southwest (SXSW) Interactive conference in Austin, Texas. This year's event focused heavily on the themes of personalization and content. In terms of personalization, it ranged from personal technology (specifically, "wearable" tech such as Fitbits and Nike Fuel) to personalized marketing messages through digital and social media. In short, it was about knowing your audience (or customer), how and where to best reach them, and how to earn their attention and support.
