Meet Brenda Worm, vice president, director of operations here at CJRW.  Brenda has been with the agency since 1990.  That's 24 years, which is a very long time in advertising years.   While at the agency, she has worked in broadcast production, creative department, administrative offices and now serves as facilities director.  Brenda has a business degree from Petit Jean Vocational-Technical School (now UACCM).

As you can imagine, Brenda is a woman who means business ... but, that doesn't mean she won't slow down and enjoy the good things in life.

Q:  As a community leader, what are you are most proud of?

A:  It is hard to name just one thing.  I really enjoyed the opportunity to be a 2006 graduate of the Leadership Greater Little Rock program, a past chairman of the Hartford Center of Geriatric Nursing Community Advisory Committee, and a past appointee to the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce Chairman’s Special Task Force.  I also enjoyed my time as a former literacy tutor and a past president of the Conway Human Development Center Volunteer Council.  Serving as the administrator of the Arkansas Tourism Development Foundation, under the direction of Foundation officers, is another project of which I am particulary proud.

Q:  Wow! You are a busy woman! What have you found to be most surprising about your career development?

A:  How quickly 24 years have passed and all the talented, creative people I've been able to meet.

Q:  What do you enjoy most about your free time?  That is, if you have any.

A:  I enjoy my cats, Pretty Boy and Fluffy; my dog, Dash; my fish, Julio. I also enjoy gardening, traveling, reading, spending time with family and friends.

Q:  Tell us one unusual fact about yourself?

A:  I collect antique café coffee creamers and butter pats.

Q:  Follow up question... What do you do with them?

A:  I display all around my house … they are "dust catchers."

Q:  What is your motto?

A:  Life is good in Worm World!
