In 1961, Wayne Cranford and Jim Johnson started an agency with the mission to bring the most innovative and effective advertising to the region. And they quickly became the largest agency in the state. Shortly thereafter, Shelby and Wayne Woods built the largest tourism marketing agency. In 1990, the two agencies joined forces to become the dominant marketing communications firm in the Mid-South and one of the largest in the Southwest. Currently, out of the almost 5,900 agencies in the U.S., we’re ranked in the top 3% in the nation.
