Travel and tourism is CJRW's special niche, built over the course of multiple decades. We helped turn tourism into a major economic driver in Arkansas and even coined the phrase “Arkansas the Natural State.” We've worked with a tremendous variety of travel and hospitality businesses and organizations, from the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism and the Hot Springs Convention and Visitor’s Bureau to numerous attractions and resorts throughout the state, as well as hotels, convention facilities, and theme parks.
We’re steeped in the latest industry research and we’re on top of all of the new trends and tools, but it’s our years of real experience that matter most. CJRW has provided integrated advertising, marketing, and public relations services for the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism for more than three decades, inviting potential visitors to choose “The Natural State” as a vacation destination. During that partnership, Arkansas tourism has grown into a multi-billion-dollar industry, hosting more than 23 million visitors in 2013.
CJRW’s expertise extends to all aspects of hospitality, including lodging and dining. We represent most of the top tourism groups, destinations, and attractions in the region, and we’ve worked with the likes of Oaklawn Racing & Gaming in Hot Springs, the Little Rock Marriott, the Arkansas Hospitality Association, the Ozark Mountain Region, Magic Springs theme park, Hunt Chapel, and more; coordinating marketing and co-op opportunities with more than 1,500 tourism operators of all sizes, including marinas and camp sites to full-service resorts and hotels.
As a full-service agency, we cover all of the tourism and hospitality bases, from placing major tourism media buys to developing websites for regional associations and restaurants. We create award-winning travel publications and promotional print materials and we create and manage social media accounts.
