Katherine is an expert in brand development, public relations and government affairs. At CJRW, she leads the marketing team for the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery and plays a key part in agency strategic planning.

Prior to joining the agency, her work focused on public affairs and political communication, with leadership roles working for the Speaker of the Arkansas House of Representatives as well as the Republican Party of Arkansas.

In 2019, Arkansas Business recognized Katherine as a 40 under 40 honoree. She is an appointed member of the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion Advisory Council and active volunteer with local non-profits, including Children’s Advocacy Centers of Arkansas and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Arkansas. She is also a graduate of the Arkansas Business Executive Leadership Academy and the State Chamber of Commerce Leadership Arkansas Class VII.

Katherine is a Hot Springs native and graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, where she received a bachelor’s degree in public relations. She and her husband, John Burris, reside in Little Rock with their pup, Gus.
